The business started over 40 years ago as artistic crafters, but as times and people change so did the business. 

The family decided to embrace the rich culinary tradition of the foods of Kentucky. We sought old recipes that had been forgotten and surrounded ourselves with food companies with over a hundred years of experience. We also became Kentucky Proud and support other Kentucky proud companies. 

In our family food was much more than just the nutritional food that our bodies need to survive. 

Food was used as an expression of love, joy, sympathy, comfort and celebration. When grandma brought food to the table, she brought her very best dish, made with the finest quality food she could get her hands on.
